Cover Journal of Indonesian Constitutional Law

Journal of Indonesian Constitutional Law (JICL) is a scientific journal published by CV. Pustaka Parawali. This journal specifically publishes articles on research results and academic studies on constitutional law, both in Indonesia and in the global context. The purpose of publishing this journal is to provide researchers and academics with an opportunity to disseminate ideas regarding constitutional law and to address the scarcity of journals that specifically publish on constitutional law topics, particularly those related to emergency constitutional law. Studies on this topic are essential for every country to rebuild its constitutional legal system, particularly for nations currently experiencing or having recently emerged from states of emergency and conflict. Academic research conducted by experts in constitutional law will contribute to efforts to realize a constitutional state.

This journal was first published in 2024 and is published three times a year, in April, August, and December. This publication schedule was chosen to provide readers and stakeholders with a variety of articles discussing emergency constitutional law, given that a state of emergency requires swift and precise resolution so that the implemented policies can effectively address the issues. This journal is committed to publishing high-quality articles by ensuring the quality of analysis, the appropriateness of the scope, avoiding any form of plagiarism, the thoroughness of revisions based on reviewer comments, adherence to academic writing standards, and other requirements established in this journal’s policies.

JICL is committed to maintaining the quality of its publications; consequently, the publication process is carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Law Universitas Islam Madura and Asosiasi Pengajar Hukum Tata Negara dan Hukum Administrasi Negara (The Association of Constitutional and Administrative Law Lectures of Indonesia or APHTN-HAN). Through this collaboration, JICL is confident it will make a significant contribution to advancing knowledge, particularly in emergency constitutional law.
